Built by someone who got tired of the runaround
Maupin Metalworks and Performance is an owner run shop east of Greeley. It exists because too many drivers get overcharged, get sold repairs they do not need, or cannot find anyone willing to take on a job that is out of the ordinary.
Dylan Maupin
Ten years in the trade, then his own doors
Dylan Maupin spent more than ten years in automotive and aftermarket accessories before he opened this shop. He is ASE certified and studied automotive technology at Aims Community College.
He formed Maupin Metalworks and Performance in August 2022, and he built it around the three complaints he kept hearing. People were overcharged. People were sold repairs they did not need. And when someone showed up with a job that was not routine, shop after shop turned it away.
This shop runs on the opposite of that. You get quality work, a straight answer about what the job takes, and pricing that holds up when you look at it twice. If something does not need doing, you hear that too.
The work runs from a 2011 Tahoe lifter tick that other shops wanted to solve with a whole new engine, to a 1969 Pontiac Firebird converted to an LS3 with a Tremec five speed. Same standard on both.

Nothing complicated. This is how every job is handled, from a brake pad swap to a full conversion.

Straight answers
You hear what the job takes and what it costs before any work starts. If a repair is not worth doing, we say so instead of selling it to you.

Fair pricing
Flat rate on the smaller jobs, hourly on the big builds. Every job is quoted up front, so the number you agree to is the number you plan around.

Treated like his own
Every vehicle in the bay gets the care Dylan gives the ones in his own driveway. That is the standard, whether it is a daily driver or a project that has been sitting for years.

Where we are
Out on County Road 64
The shop sits at 13451 Co Rd 64, east of Greeley. It is rural, so it is not somewhere you happen to drive past on the way to work. Plug the address into your phone before you set off.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 10am to 5pm, closed weekends. Most of the day is spent in the bay, so a call first is the quickest way to reach someone.
